Kubo was founded from the success of its affiliated companies, Fieldgate Homes and Fieldgate Developments, both with deep roots in the real estate and development industries. Fieldgate Homes, established in 1957, is our original parent company. Its steady growth and success has allowed us to further delve into areas where our expertise can be applied. Being a third generation, family-owned company, we have the experience to excel and take great pride in what we do. In 1957, Fieldgate Homes was founded. The company steadily grew into a renowned homebuilder, and a natural evolution to explore commercial opportunities followed. This led to the company providing property management services, and eventually Fieldgate Commercial Properties Limited was established to also develop commercial buildings.
The expansion of Fieldgate’s services then led to the inception of FCML (Fieldgate Construction Management Limited). As Fieldgate’s construction division, it has not only developed commercial properties in the GTA, but also a design/builder, joint venture construction partner, and general contractor.
Point Architects is a design and service oriented architectural firm with extensive experience in commercial, retail, residential and industrial architecture. We take pride in creating buildings and environments that not only respond to but exceed our clients’ requirements and expectations. Our goal is to create flexible, useful and meaningful architecture that enhances the context in which it is located.
